I love iced coffee, but making it at home can be difficult. How do you make coffee without it being watered down by ice cubes and how do you get it cold enough? After many trials and tribulations, I’ve finally figured out a recipe that I enjoy! It’s a combination of an Italian Iced Coffee recipe I saw a local coffeeshop make and my own ideas!
I usually make coffee with my Keurig. The trick is to pick a strong blend. I LOVE Barista Prima Italian Roast K-Cups. It is a bold, dark, espresso roast that is VERY strong!
While brewing the coffee, I fill up a martini shaker with ice. I then pour the hot coffee right over the ice and start shaking immediately. It makes the coffee ice cold without melting the ice cubes! I then add sugar and milk and stir! It tastes creamy and delightful, and you save money by making it at home!!!!
